Solar power is available across the globe during any hours of sunlight. Once solar technology is installed solar power can be installed anywhere it is needed and unlike wind turbines solar panels are unobtrusive and rarely cause controversy.

Although solar energy is highly beneficial there are still a couple of concerns that are raised by potential solar power users; set-up costs and the initial manufacturing impact on environment. Whilst the manufacture of solar panel is not as green as the use of the panels themselves, manufacturers are always trying to make them more eco-friendly to produce. Whilst the more people who begin using solar panels the cheaper the technology will become.
