Bad experience with a solar products supplier?
What can you do if you find out your supplier isn’t as honest as you thought?
Even well-reccommended solar product suppliers can have a bad day, or a bad employee. The first thing you should do is contact the supplier directly and try to work out the problem. If that doesn’t work, contact and trade associations the contractor belongs to and ask for arbitration. If you’re working throught a state solar program, get them involved. All most suppliers need is a nudge to do the right thing. Just show them how it will be easier for them to solve your problem rather than deal with a much larger problem that will be created if you have to bring others into it.
